Going Down

Down a pound. So 212.4. I want to lose the bulk of my weight and then count calories or carbs. I can't do Brenda's diet forever, I just can't. I like wine and pizza too much to deprive myself forever. But I do need to learn portion control!

Dieting Sucks

I agree Emily. Humbug to all things diet. Anyway, I have been having a really hard time getting back into the swing of things so for the time being I have decided to count calories until I get in a better dieting mind set. After a stressful weekend of home updates and toilets exploding (see Money Pit LYLASandCo.com) I ballooned to 214.6. I know, right? (Harpoon it, Harpoon it!!)
So since Sunday I have counted calories eating hummus, turkey sandwiches, string cheese and other small portions of anything I damn well please. And on Wed. morning (today) I am at 211. 3.6 lbs. I want to get back to a place mentally that will allow me to do the dietitians diet but I'm not there yet. It's amazing what stress and a lack of sleep can do to your dieting stability. No excuses. I'm coming back!
