Too preoccupied

I haven't been dieting the past few days because, 1) I plan to eat thanksgiving dinner and am using that as an excuse to take the week off and 2) I am too busy to eat until late at night and then I gain anyway. I need to slow down, take time for me (to eat good healthy things), and get back into my old routine!

  1. Well, hubs has been out of town for almost 2 weeks. He is the main cook in the house. Don't get me wrong I can cook, I just don't like it! So, for the most part it's been junk food or cereal. Yes, my diet is shot. I suppose I should be happy that at least I have not gained. I have just maintained. UGH! I weigh myself at the school because I don't own a scale since I got mad a few months back and literally threw it in the trash truck as it came one day. (perfectly good scale but it was my enemy... yanno?)

    I have lost 23 lbs this year but honestly that was mostly due to being sick not because I tried. BUT I will take it!

    So, hubby comes home tonight and I am hoping tomorrow starts the healthy eating again. It's just hard to get my lazy, sick ass off the couch and cook. A bowl of cereal is just as fine for me but then of course I don't get much nutrition from that and thus don't get healthier as needed. Horrible, viscous circle.

    Anyways, just ranting.
